Steamed Plantains
Take the tip of your knife and slice a small cut along the length of the plantain into its ridge.
Cut both ends off. Then cut plantains into 3-4, 2” chunks, leaving skin on.
Place plantain pieces in a medium sauce pot with a steamer trap inside.
Boil for 20mins until, you can stick a fork into the meat and falls right off (like boiling potatoes)
Once finished, remove skin and serve with breakfast.
